About Melbourne Sports Science
Performance is rarely the product of talent alone. It grows through the right environment, purposeful practice, appropriate challenge and good decisions repeated over time.
Melbourne Sports Science brings that high-performance process to every athlete—not only those already at the top. We meet young athletes at their current level, understand the context around them and build the next useful step.
Clear expectations, honest feedback and training that earns the right to progress.
Training is scaled to age, experience, current capacity and the demands of the sport. Progress is planned—not rushed.
Built for the developing athlete
Evidence-based coaching, clear feedback and purposeful sessions—built to complement an athlete’s sport, not compete with it.

Build efficient mechanics, sharper first steps and the ability to express speed in sport.

Develop age-appropriate strength, landing skills and explosive intent with quality coaching.

Improve change of direction, balance and movement quality across different sporting demands.

Learn how to train safely and with purpose, understand key techniques and carry confident performance habits into sport.

The complete athlete toolkit
Elite performance is more than one training session. Athletes learn how the major parts of preparation work together, giving them practical skills to make better decisions in training and sport.
Build force safely through strong technique, age-appropriate loading, jumping, landing and explosive movement.
Develop efficient speed and repeat-effort capacity, while learning how high-intensity work and recovery fit together.
Learn practical foundations for fuelling, hydration, sleep and wellbeing that support training, growth and everyday energy.
Understand why recovery matters and use simple routines around sleep, movement and training load to arrive ready to perform.
Why families choose MSS
Develop speed, strength, movement quality and confidence that athletes can carry directly into their sport.
Every session uses age-appropriate progressions, clear instruction and careful supervision from an experienced coach.
Athletes return to team training with stronger movement foundations, better habits and greater training confidence.
Places will be deliberately limited so every athlete receives meaningful feedback and coaching.
